Following consultation meetings and discussions with your ASU delegates, we have confirmed the specific claims we seek to table at our next EBA meeting for the Depot
These are;
- Increases to industry allowances in recognition of more dangerous work.
- Maintenance allowance list of machinery/plant to be updated to reflect actual equipment used- (29.7.c).
- Maintenance allowance paid to employees required to conduct vehicle inspections/pre-start checks.
- Introduction of allowance for hazardous work, for example, when required to use certain chemicals or do higher-risk work.
