Last week management provided a DRAFT timetable to the unions (ASU/AEU/ANMF/PA) that outlines key dates for the proposed enterprise agreement (EA) employee vote. The City of Kingston will provide the unions with a DRAFT EA on the 17th of July with feedback due on Friday the 2nd of August.
The ASU will be holding a number of report-back meetings starting on Monday the 22nd of July with details of these meetings to be advised.
The City of Kingston has put forward a weekly wage offer of 2.3% or $35.00 (whichever is the greater) per year for a four year agreement. The breakdown of the 1st year wage offer can be found here
Please note that the point where the percentage starts and the flat-rate increase stops is at Band 5D and that this table also includes estimates for various percentage increases (4%/3%/2%). There are a number of claims put by the ASU that have been rejected by management with specific information regarding the agreed/not agreed claims to follow next week.
