At the recent Joint Consultative Committee meeting, held on Wednesday 16 June 2021, discussions were had regarding the upcoming negotiations for a new Multi-Enterprise Agreement (covering both Kentish & Latrobe Council).

Management has proposed a 1.5% pay increase to all staff, payable from the first full pay period in July 2021.

As there have been different factors delaying the start of negotiations, a new agreement will not be in place before the end of this financial year.

Management is offering this payment as good will. If this is not accepted, they say that no back-payments will be made until a new agreement is in place. This could then means no pay increase until July 2022.
