Every year the ASU gathers to mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence including the Walk Against Family Violence.  Due to COVID restrictions this years march has been coordinated through a Facebook page, where we have registered an ASU team.

By taking part in this year’s walk-from-home event on November 25, you’ll be joining people all across Victoria in support and solidarity with everyone who has been impacted by family violence.

Follow us on Facebook and let us know why this walk is important to you using #WAFV2020.

If you haven’t already, you can join a group (search ASU Team) and follow the updates.

Tell your friends and family to sign up at http://bit.ly/WAFV2020

The ASU is proud to represent members in the Family Violence sector and would like to acknowledge the importance of all workers in this field and their valuable contribution to our union.

This event is supported by Respect Victoria and organised by Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre in co-ordination with the City of Melbourne, Emerge, No to Violence, and Domestic Violence Victoria.
