The next meeting of the ASU Victorian Local Government Health and Safety Representatives Network is just around the corner! This one is an exciting one because we’ll be joined by Dan Coon – a former HSR and OHS extraordinaire from Wyndham City Council 🎉

While a HSR at Wyndham City Council, Dan worked with his employer to make employee mental health a top priority. Dan and the other HSRs worked hard to ensure that this wasn’t left unticked on the council to-do list. They managed to host a HSR conference about workplace mental health – all on paid time with all the council leaders there listening and learning 🌟
Dan is going to share his story, along with some handy tips and tricks to help you sway your employer into finally acting on effective mental health initiatives.
