You have been identified as a key delegate we want to talk to!
You are invited to attend a special meeting to discuss and provide feedback on the latest Campaign activities, strategies and developments in the ASU ‘ Rate Cap’ Campaign and provide input on what matters specifically to you and your colleagues.
By coming along to this invite only meeting you will be privy to information that will assist in significant changes and provide feedback on what strategies are likely to succeed in your workplaces to address problems with the rate capping policy. It is an opportunity that you as workplace leaders can lead the way to changes to rate capping whilst working with our ASU Campaign Team.
You will join ASU delegates from Wyndham, Darebin, Yarra, Knox, Whitehorse, Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong, Monash, Maroondah, Mount Alexander, Hepburn, Macedon Ranges and Bendigo for this important event.
Our Campaign team have been working hard at identifying opportunities, allies, stakeholders and members to ensure that the State Government will sit up and take notice of the negative effects rate capping is having on Local Government workers, services and the community.
Date: Thursday 26 August
Time: 12:30 – 1:30pm

The impact of rate capping on jobs and services is a real issue for all workers in Local Government, we are all seeing wages being supressed each year since its introduction, with more services under pressure.
We need you to attend this important meeting to be part of the solution and input into this Campaign that is for all Local Government workers to play a part in.
