On Friday 8 March 2019, we are hosting a one-day training event at the ASU Office in Carlton.
This day is open to female identified ASU members and forms part of the Women’s Rights At Work (WRAW) Festival 2019.
The objective of the training is to come together and articulate the messages we want to convey at the annual IWD March and throughout the year, using the theme ‘The Value of Women’.
Lunch will be catered for and the program will include small group discussions, campaign updates and crafting messages. We will then join our sisters and comrades for the International Women’s Day March.
Please note that ASU delegates can use Union Training Leave to attend this day. If you wish to access this paid leave under your Enterprise Agreement, you need to have your leave approved four weeks in advance.
Spaces are limited so get in early! You are welcome to register for all or part of the day.
