Last week at the Community Care delegates meeting, attendees went through what the Royal Commission into Aged Care recommendations might mean for members. While the Commonwealth Government is set to deliver their full response on May 31st, we won’t be waiting. Below is an outline of your role as delegate as part of the ASU’s Aged Care Campaign Plan.

Delegates to lock in a workplace members meeting either online or in person by mid April.
Talk through the industry changes (refer to these speaking notes if you need to). Go through the ASU’s plan to push back. We need lists of names for who is up for visiting MP’s or Councilors, and your ideas for community pressure points to lobby or build alliances within your area.
