The ASU recently contacted Hydro Tasmania as we had been made aware that Hydro was considering an Organisational Restructure.  Management confirmed that it is currently developing a new operating model as it believes that the current structure does not best support the strategic growth of the organisation into the future.

At this early stage, only Level 1 and Level 2 positions are being reviewed, however the full impact of any changes are currently being worked through and any further consequential changes are yet to be considered by Hydro Tasmania.

The ASU will be closely monitoring these potential changes and ensuring that Hydro Tasmania complies with its obligations, contained within your Enterprise Agreement, to consult with employees and the ASU before any definite decision is made.
