Last Friday we received news that the EBA ballot was voted up by a significant majority of employees.
As at the close of ballot 12Midnight AEDT 3 March 2022, the results were:
- YES – (I approve the proposed Agreement) = 89% (921 employees)
- NO – (I reject the proposed Agreement) = 11% (110 employees)
The ASU would like to acknowledge the contribution of all your Delegates who made a significant contribution to this EBA process and outcome, attending and contributing at many lengthy meetings and reviewing documents, over a protracted period of time. We also acknowledge all the members who voted to take action to secure a better outcome with great improvements to wages and conditions.
The next part of the process is to submit the proposed Agreement to FWC for approval.
