The 2020 Occupational Health & Safety Conference, run by Victorian Trades Hall Council, is specifically for Health and Safety Representatives. This year the focus is on Risks to Psychosocial Health.

The conference will be held online due to Covid-19 restrictions.

WorkCover claims relating to psychosocial health have been rising. The conference will support Health and Safety Representatives to understand the workplace risks to psychosocial health and their powers to address psychosocial hazards in the Workplace.

Additionally, the ASU will be holding a breakout session on the day from 1:45pm – 2:45pm. This session will be around Gendered Violence in the Workplace

You must notify your employer at least 14 days prior to the conference. You are entitled to Paid Training Leave in accordance with 69 (1) (d) (ii) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
