All workers at Hindmarsh Shire Council are invited to meet with ASU Campaign Organiser, Clay O’Brien, on Wednesday 8 December.

Jeparit Depot – 7.30am

Nhill Office – 12.30pm

Zoom meeting for anyone working from home or unable to attend face-to-face – 2pm (Just click this meeting link)

Nhill Depot – 4pm

Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, and members are encouraged to invite any colleagues who are not-yet members of the union.

We will be providing you with an update on our local government campaign, and talking about the importance of working together as we fight for better funding, secure jobs and fair wage increases.

Don’t forget to nominate your Local Hero

The Vision Super Local Heroes Awards will recognise local government workers for their outstanding contribution to their communities.

We want to recognise and celebrate those workers who have gone above and beyond for their workplace or community. Four runners up will each win a $500 Visa debit card, and the winner will receive $1000 from Vision Super.

Nominate a Local Hero here.

Not only are we stronger and better off when we all work together, but only union members receive the protection and benefits that union membership provides. As we are fighting for better funding, secure jobs and fair wage increases in local government, it is absolutely critical that all workers at Hindmarsh Shire Council consider the benefits of union membership, and join the ASU today.
