Enterprise agreement negotiations at Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative (BADAC) has been progressing extremely well. With delegates Kelvin Meloury and Tim Sands at the forefront from the word go.
Their insights, input and ongoing involvement have been instrumental in ensuring that a number of claims have been given provisional approval and a number still being seriously considered.
Current discussions centre around clear, equitable, and appropriate classification structures across BADAC, along with future wage increases.
Both the ASU and BADAC are hoping that the inaugural BADAC Enterprise Agreement will be in place by the end of the year..
This is the time, for our hard and dedicated members to be even more engaged and involved.
There is an opportunity at BADAC to enshrine a set of working conditions that respect and acknowledge the good work done by ASU members.
