The ASU met with Glenorchy City Council management at the Fair Work Commission this morning, Wednesday 26 August, in relation to the start of enterprise bargaining at GCC.

The outcome from this discussion was a resounding confirmation that Council MUST begin bargaining and a draft timetable to get started was discussed.

The ASU will be holding meetings next week to consult with members about our next steps.

There is no more important time to be a member of the ASU

The last few months have seen workers everywhere face the challenges of job security, income, protection of entitlements and occupational health and safety. We have been by your side throughout it all.

Circulate this message to your non-member colleagues and encourage them to attend these meetings as an observer.
