ASU members went all the way to Fair Work in the pursuit to have a say and vote on their pay and conditions at work AND WON!
This followed Council’s decision to unilaterally apply a wage freeze and delay enterprise bargaining.
Council have now issued the Notice of Employee Representational Rights (NERR) which signifies the start of bargaining.

To have your say on what’s important to you, please complete this short survey.
ASU members should not nominate as individual Employee Bargaining Representatives. This removes your rights as a union member and means you are bargaining for yourself; alone.

Keep your eyes out for an email with details of upcoming union meetings. In the meantime, circulate this message to your non-member colleagues and ask them to complete the survey and join us in our stand for a fair deal. We are stronger together.
