ASU Organiser Ken Richardson will be holding members’ meetings to discuss the union log of claims for the upcoming bargaining meetings with council.

The log of claims will cover such issues as improvements to leave entitlements, including family and domestic violence leave, compassionate leave, secondary carers leave and access to parental leave to name a few.
We will also be discussing other items such as the pay rise required, superannuation contributions remaining at 6.5% above the minimum superannuation guarantee, call outs and on-call allowance, and adverse conditions allowance.
Of particular concern to members is the current classification structure, classification levels and the apparent inability for incremental advancement within the current structure.
