The Australian Services Union is there every day representing workers in Social and Community Services.
This representation happens at a workplace level with specialist advice and support to members in their workplace and at a sector-wide level with advocacy for the workplace interests of ASU members.
The more of us there are, the stronger our voice.
Over recent years the number of ASU members has continued to grow. In Victoria, we now have over 6,000 ASU members in the sector. Building on strong growth year on year, the number of SACS workers in the ASU has increased by 30% since 2016.
This means we have a louder voice and are better able to represent workers.
To keep building our strength, we need to keep building our union.
Ask a workmate who is not yet a member of our union to join today. It’s easy for anyone who is not yet a member to join online at www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
