Since members overwhelmingly rejected FCC initial proposal for a new enterprise agreement your ASU representatives have been working to try to negotiate an acceptable deal.

Disappointingly this has not occurred.

FCC has announced its intention to take the proposed EA to a vote very soon.

An ASU meeting is being held to discuss these matters in more detail and it is imperative that you attend! Members need to decide where to next and a vote will be called at the meeting on whether to accept or reject the offer.

DATE: Wednesday 11 September
TIME: 12.30pm
VENUE: Mechanics Hall

This is an approved paid time meeting, so please book it into your calendar.

Your ASU representatives want to ensure you get a fair outcome from negotiations. To do this we need to hear what you think of the proposed offer and work with members to stop it if that is what is voted for.

Remember, only members can have a say on how the ASU proceeds, and this meeting is open to members only. Ensure your voice is heard and join today so that you can come along to the meeting and vote on where to next.

Want to get the best outcomes possible in your EA?

  • Encourage other members to come to the meeting with you
  • Pass this on to a non-member and ask them to join the ASU prior to the meeting
