Are you a First Nations person in Tasmania and a union member?
The ASU is an affiliate of Unions Tasmania – an organisation that advocates for improved wages, conditions, safety and living standards for working Tasmanians and their families.
Unions Tasmania is made up of 22 local unions representing nearly 50,000 working Tasmanians.
The ASU would like to invite all First Nations members of our union to meet with Unions Tasmania to discuss issues relevant to First Nations people working in Tasmania.
This discussion will also focus on Union Tasmania can incorporate issues relevant to First Nations people into its work and include the establishment of a standing committee.
