ASU Organiser Kath Milbourne has decided that the time is right to move on from the ASU to take up new and exciting opportunities.
Kath began working with the Branch in 2011 and worked with members in the north of Tasmania and in the social and community services right across Tasmania. She has been responsible for many great outcomes for members in her area.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kath for all of her hard work and dedication to the ASU during her time with the union and we wish her well in her new endeavours.
The Branch has opened the recruitment process for a new Organiser in the north or north west to ensure we can fill this vacancy as soon as possible. We will notify affected members when a new Organiser is appointed. In the meantime, we are looking to appoint an experienced Organiser on a temporary basis to ensure that you have a contact within the union who is based in Launceston. We’ll provide details for this Organiser once the appointment is finalised.
