Please be advised of the following important matters:

The existing EA will expire on 31 March, 2019 and negotiations between management and the ASU will start in the first week of February next year.

ASU Organiser David Nunns will be holding a number of meetings in January/February 2019 to consult on issues arising under the existing EA and the prospective ‘Log of Claims’. Please feel free to contact ASU Organiser David on 0418 856 495 to arrange a local meeting with members in your work area/department.

The ASU calls for nominations from the membership to be an ‘ASU Delegate’ (especially in those areas without direct ASU representation) and to actively participate in the negotiations on YOUR wages and YOUR conditions. ASU delegates take a lead role in determining the bargaining outcomes for your workforce. Make your ASU membership count and nominate an ASU delegate for your workforce today.

If you wish to nominate to be an ASU Delegate please call Branch Organiser David Nunns on 0418 856 495 and register your interest as soon as possible.

Please note that nominations can also be provided directly to an ASU Delegate as per the following:

  • VACANT (Mills Road Depot)
  • Pam Cameron (Home Care Department)
  • Tony Collins (Parks & Gardens – Industrial Drive)
  • Suzanne Hauff (1230 Cheltenham Road)
  • Sally Difford (1230 Cheltenham Road)
  • Colleen Gordon (Home Care Department)

Please note that elections for ASU Delegates will be held at the Mills Road Depot and the Industrial Drive site (details to be provided shortly) and please feel free to contact the ASU Delegates during normal working hours to discuss the above matters and please note that an ASU Delegates Meeting was held on Monday of this week to assist in the development of the ‘ASU 2019 Enterprise Agreement Log of Claims’.
