On the 15th of May 2021 State Government announced changes to the current state wages policy, reducing the guaranteed wages increase from 2% to 1.5% this announcement has placed an enormous amount of pressure on the negotiations of your agreement.

Keeping this in mind we have worked tirelessly since October last year and under tight timelines, to ensure we get the best outcome for you.

We have made improvements in areas such as paid parental leave, bereavement leave, work-life balance and payment for all periods of telemetry. We had challenges with getting commitments relating to the use of GPS data, however, we have cautioned management on inappropriate use.

Management stated they wanted to streamline some areas of the agreement and attempt to tidy up areas that were a little bit ‘clunky’, whilst we acknowledge the agreement needed some work in places, we were not prepared to make any major modifications given the timeframes we had to work within and without consulting with you.

Voting opened yesterday Monday 7/3/2022 and now is your opportunity to make an informed decision, a yes vote means you will secure 2% pay increase per year locked in until 2025.
