Delegates at Frankston City Council, supported by ASU organisers, recently ran a member services and recruitment Expo.

The Expo was a way to engage with ASU members about the upcoming enterprise agreement negotiations and show potential members the benefits of ASU membership.

Members and non-members took the chance to meet up with ASU organisers and delegates, contribute to the Log of Claims and bring up concerns with the current agreement.

The day was a great success with over members having their say on the next enterprise agreement, new members joining the ASU and even a couple of nominations for new delegates.

In addition to having the expertise and clout to advocate for members, the ASU provides services that help members stretch their pay packet further.

We invited along to the Expo our business partners Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Vision Super, ME Bank and Union Shopper to highlight the additional benefits union members enjoy. Members were also able to take full advantage of the free merchandise on offer.

Big congratulations and thanks to the Frankston City Council delegates who did a sterling job planning and organising the Expo.
