With some more pressure applied EGSC have increased their monetary offer from $22 per week to $24 per week, coupled with the 2%, 1.75%, 1.75% this offer is approaching some of the better offers we are seeing at present. The full back pay amount is still off the table, Council have agreed to back pay to the first pay period in January.
With Australia Day public holiday falling on Wednesday 26 January, some staff may be taking leave over that week and possibly miss the scheduled meetings. ASU Organiser Colin Houghton has scheduled more online sessions, to give all members and staff the chance to attend.
