The ASU is visiting your workplace.

DATE: Tuesday 2 August
TIME: 7.30am
VENUE: Works Depot, Crib Room

We are also inviting nominations for ASU Delegates at Derwent Valley Council. The ASU is committed to providing education that ensures our union delegates, activists and members have the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively in their workplaces. Your Enterprise Agreement supports paid access to leave to attend training and to carry out the affairs of a Delegate.

Training occurs regularly with the next session running from 16 – 18 August in Hobart. This three-day course provides delegates with the foundations to become an effective union delegate. Delegates will enjoy learning about the ASU, union history, Fair Work Act, Workers Compensation, Occupational Health and Safety, equal opportunity, negotiation skills and workplace organising. Enjoy meeting delegates from a wide range of workplaces and industries, meet union organisers and other service providers such Hall Payne Lawyers.

If you are interested in becoming a Delegate please contact:
ASU Organiser Samantha Batchelor | 0459 228 612 | sbatchelor@asuvictas.com.au

Expressions of interest will be open until COB Monday 1 August.
