After 13 years at Mount Alexander Shire ASU HACC delegate, Liz Carthew recently announced her retirement.
During this time Liz dedicated herself to the welfare of her work colleagues and the community members she worked with.
Liz is looking forward to continuing her devotion to social justice and community involvement and support in various volunteer roles.
Liz will be greatly missed in her employee and union delegate role, as she has the qualities and outlook to relate to workmates and the community.
She developed a strong relationship and empowered people, and leaves a strong legacy for her successor HACC delegates Lucinda Banks and Sam Jones.
Liz’s work on industry/collective matters and individual issues has been top class.
Thanks Liz for your representation of your workmates as an ASU delegate.
Recently, comrades of Liz joined her for dinner in celebration of her work for the community and for her workmates.
