The ASU reminds all members to place your vote in the protected action ballot currently being run!

The union bargaining group are doing everything we can to get workers the best outcome possible.

We have been negotiating since September.

We have gone to Fair Work and will return there this week.

We have held members meetings and kept you all updated.

We know workers are worried about the cost-of-living crisis.

So – now it’s over to you!!

Members rejected council’s wage offer of 80% of the rate cap!

Council has rejected wording to strengthen communication and consultation about absences and workload management.

Your employer offered improvements to your EA and then took them away!

You have been keeping council going through rough times.

If you want to see something better in your EA Vote Yes for Protected Industrial Action!

The protected action vote is open now until midday on Friday 21 April. All votes must be placed by then to be counted.

If you haven’t received a ballot, please contact True Vote via 1300360287 or support@truevote.com.au

In the meantime, we take this step seriously, as we know members do too!

You might hear from us a bit more than usual, and also from True Vote, who is conducting the vote.

Once you let the ASU office know you’ve voted we’ll take you off that contact list.

Only ASU members can take protected action under our ballot! Talk to a co-worker about joining, its quick and easy to join online at https://asujoin.asn.au/

Any questions about this please talk to your local ASU delegates or:
