The Victorian Department of Health & Human Services is setting up a reference group to deal with any issues that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the mental health and AOD workforces, including industrial and practice issues.
The ASU will be part of the reference group, along with DHHS and peak bodies.
The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way that many of you work and there are many issues that may need to be dealt with to ensure that you are kept safe, that you can do your job properly and that your clients are also able to access services. Even if those services are now provided in a different way.
If you work in the community psychosocial sector or in AOD and have any questions or comments you would like the ASU to raise with the reference group about the way your employer is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic please contact;
ASU Assistant Secretary Leon Wiegard | 0438 060 298 | firstname.lastname@example.org
We will make sure not to identify any individual members as the source of any information that you would like to pass on. We are keen to hear both good and bad examples of how the COVID-19 pandemic is being handled in your workplace.
If you have any other concerns please contact:
ASU Member Contact Centre | 1300 855 570 | email@example.com
