Community Sector Snapshot – across our workplaces

Across the Community Sector, ASU members are active and united for safer workplaces, better workplace conditions, and a bigger and stronger ASU.

Here’s a snapshot of just some of the things happening across the community sector over the last few months

The ASU negotiating team has started barging for a new Community Legal Centres multi-business agreement.

ASU members have taken industrial action, including stopping work, to get a fair deal in the Launch Housing enterprise agreement. They opposed management’s proposal and won big concessions.

The proposed CAFS enterprise agreement, which would have dramatically reduced key working entitlements, was emphatically voted down.

ASU members have been elected by their workmates as ASU delegates at workplaces including EDVOS, Neami, and VACCA.
