Following the ASU advising Clarence City Council management of our members’ request for an improved wage increase offer, they have decided to push ahead with putting the proposed new Enterprise Agreement out to vote, without making any changes to the wage offer.

Their position remains unchanged at 2.5% for years 1, 2 and 3 and 2.5% or CPI for year 4. There is no back pay being offered for the time spent under a wage freeze.

They are now preparing to put YOUR agreement to the vote and NOW is your time to act.

ASU Tasmanian Coordinator Aaron De La Torre and your ASU Organiser Karen Tantari will be holding PAID TIME meetings to discuss what steps you can take to ensure you get the outcome you deserve.

DATE: Thursday 6 May
TIME: 7am
VENUE: Amenities Room, Mornington Depot

DATE: Thursday 6 May
TIME: 9.30am
VENUE: Amenities Room, Council Chambers

Without taking action now, you will be stuck with the current offer. These meetings are critical for members, and others, to discuss the Union’s plan for improvement so please encourage all of your colleagues to attend. Please distribute this meeting notice far and wide.
