Following the completion of negotiations earlier this week, the ASU wishes to thank all delegates for all their hard work put in over the last year.

It has been a tough year of negotiations, and we did not achieve all of what members asked for, however, attached is a list some of the wins we were able to achieve for members across areas of council.

Next Steps?
Members should know that their agreement will look different, due to consolidation work that was undertaken this year to consolidate the agreement and award together.

The ASU has worked hard in ensuring that all preferential terms of conditions have been included in this new agreement and we hope that members find it easier and simpler to read and understand.

You can view a copy of the agreement here.

The access period for staff to become familiar with the new agreement and its changes starts today and closes on 8 December.

It is important that members read the agreement to ensure they are making an informed decision when voting starts on 9 December.

Your vote counts, so please make sure you do. Once a vote has taken place, if the agreement is voted up with a majority voting yes, then the agreement will come into force once certified by the commission. If the agreement is voted down, negotiations will continue.
