The ASU met with City of Port Phillip management yesterday for the first Enterprise Agreement negotiation meeting, where unions and your employer tabled their log of claims.

We are yet to explore the finer details of management’s claims and their impact, however, you can view their log of claims here.

As you will see where there are claims that seek to reduce members’ entitlements and rights, the union will of course oppose these, others will need to be looked at in more detail and consultation with delegates and members will occur during that process.

Over the next week, ASU organisers will meet with your delegates to go through claims and will provide CoPP with a response. We will also provide members with periodical updates on the progress of negotiations. You can view the ASU log of claims here.

The ASU is only as strong as its members at the City of Port Phillip, the more members we have the stronger we are together. Talk to a colleague about the importance of union membership and ask them to join online at https://www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
