Enterprise Agreement (EA) Bargaining has started at Council, with the ASU team setting the agenda.

ASU Delegate team committed to negotiate specific work units first and have started bargaining on the main body of claims, see items under discussion below:

  • New Transition to retirement clause
  • Flexible working arrangements for outdoor staff (as well as indoor staff)
  • Paid pandemic leave
  • Allowances
  • Agreement to delete spot banding
  • Band 2 & 6 new level D for these bands

COGG have not yet tabled any pay increases for the new EA. Next EA meeting is tomorrow, the ASU will keep you in the loop!
