Union representatives are continuing to push CFA to put a better deal on the table. Members are frustrated by the lack of action and are continuing their industrial action campaign.

CFA have advised unions that before they can put a revised offer on the table, it must first be approved by the Department of Treasury and Finance. No timeframe has been provided for this approval process.

This is simply not good enough – you have waited too long already. So this week the unions have lodged bargaining disputes with the Fair Work Commission, to seek their assistance to get things moving.

The matter has been listed for Monday July 3 before Commissioner Wilson. We will keep members updated of any progress.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your delegates, or organiser Matt Price at mprice@asuvictas.com.au
