The ASU stand in solidarity with the striking members of the United Workers Union at McCormick foods. These workers have now been on strike for five weeks fighting for their first pay rise in five years. In response McCormick foods have put out an enterprise agreement that would have cut their pay by $500. This is what corporate greed looks like.
Last week the workers rejected this shameful offer by over 90%.
McCormick foods have made millions over the past year on the backs of the hard work of their skilled workforce and itโs time they made a fair offer.
