It is time to celebrate the work of ASU Delegates and members in delivering good pay outcomes for all employees at Casey City Council.
In your pay packet from the first pay period commencing on or after 1 July, you will receive NOT 1.75% BUT 3.5% per week increase.
With pay tied to the rate cap – an issue the ASU will continue to campaign to fix – we wrote to the Local Government Minister last year to let her know that when she set the cap it was important the cap wasn’t set too low to give workers a decent pay rise that would keep up with the cost of living. With the cap set at 3.5%, up from 1.75% last year, this will flow through to you.
We will be holding meetings/BBQs to celebrate your pay rise.
