Following our recent ASU meeting with the Home and Community team, members sought clarification on what redundancy entitlements would look like for them as individuals.

We have provided what the Enterprise Agreement sets out as redundancy calculations, if the decision to exit out of service delivery continues in mid-2022.

We have tried to explain it as simply as possible- all you need to do is follow this link.

It is important to note that there may be an opportunity for you to be redeployed into another area of council, in which case you maintain your employment and will not be entitled to a redundancy payout. The benefit of this is that you have on-going employment!

Remember the ASU can review your individual calculations to ensure everything is above board.
