It’s that time again. After a tremendous effort last year, employees at CAFS united to vote ‘No’ on an unfair and unacceptable Enterprise Agreement. After a well-deserved break, it’s time to regroup and prepare to head back into negotiations with Management.
ASU Organiser Corina Parkwell has taken over responsibilities for CAFS from your long-time ASU Organiser, Charlie Volpe, and will be holding a meeting to discuss the negotiations and to introduce herself to the team at CAFS.
DATE: Friday 17 June
TIME: 12pm – 1pm
REGISTRATION LINK: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYsdOqtrDgpE9CxdZF20e7ZA2krSUGlsaAh
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Things to discuss:
- What has changed for members since the ‘No’ vote? Should we revisit our Log of Claims?
- How do we get more members involved?
- Issues on the ground/ temperature check. How are staff feeling about the EA process and their work in general?
This meeting is open to both ASU members and non-members. If you have a colleague that’s recently joined CAFS and isn’t yet a member, please forward them this invitation.
If you can’t make the meeting, but have something to say, please contact one of your CAFS delegates, Linda Forbes and Trent Johnson. Better yet, consider becoming a delegate yourself and help your colleagues get the Agreement you all deserve.
