We did it! We saved Homelessness Services.
For months, ASU members have been campaigning to make sure the Federal Government commits to pay their share of housing and homelessness funding in the Federal Budget this week.
Without it, hundreds of jobs and critical services were on the line – making it harder for women and children fleeing family and domestic violence to get the support they need.
But ASU members came together and through your hard work, the Federal Government has committed to fund Homelessness Services.

Well done to every ASU member who took action to Save Homelessness Services!
We know that this issue mattered to our members and to our communities. So we campaigned to win – and together, we did.
