The ASU has now received an initial briefing on the proposed changes during Phase 3.
We invite impacted members to a discussion to gather any questions, concerns and/or feedback on the information and process provided to date by Council.
We will be meeting again with council again on Friday 6 November to provide this feedback, so it’s important to have your views represented.
There will be further opportunities to provide feedback during the consultation phase, however the sooner we hear about any concerns the longer we have to try and address them.

Please note, we have also sought further detail on the key dates advice provided to staff, which council has undertaken to do by COB Wednesday 4 November and add to BAZ.
This will breakdown the phases of the consultation process, what impacted staff need to be aware of or act on by key dates and further details on steps council is taking.
(Currently Slide 32 in Business Transformation presentation from yesterday, “Phase announcement and consultation timing”)
We strongly encourage staff to ask for an itemised list of the proposed changes to position descriptions – which you can seek by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Please carefully check this info to make sure changes have been tracked.
Please get in touch in the meantime with any question.
We are also working on a hard deadline of final concerns on Phase 2 by COB Monday 2 November, under Fair Work Commission instructions.
We appreciate that change can be stressful, please bear with us as we work through the high volume of queries and info.
