ASU Organiser Joanne McEvoy and ASU Delegates will be visiting Bethany worksites to meet with members and discuss the implementation of Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) and the progress of negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.
DATE: Wednesday 18 September
VENUE: Warrnambool Office
The first half of the meetings will be open to everyone to discuss the PLSL scheme with the last half of the meeting being held for ASU members to discuss the ongoing enterprise agreement negotiations.
We will be discussing how the new PLSL scheme works, employer and employee requirements, how to access PLSL in the future and answer any questions you may have to make sure you get what you’re entitled to and fought for.
Enterprise Agreement negotiations between Bethany management and your ASU Delegates have reached a stage where we need to speak with members directly about the offer on the table before we go any further.
We believe that there are some improvements in the proposal, but that there are also some outstanding claims you need to have a say on.
These are approved paid time meetings, so please book them into your calendar and make sure you attend.
We need to hear what you think of the proposed offer and are seeking your feedback on your priority issues.
These meetings will be open to Bethany employees who aren’t yet ASU members, and information on joining the ASU will be available. It is important to note that only members can have a say on how we proceed with your agreement negotiations and any further meetings will be open to members only.
Members are welcome to attend any of the above meetings
