BCYF’s FINAL POSITION PROVIDED – NOW IT’S TIME TO DECIDE

Your ASU representatives want to improve conditions at BCYF! Since members overwhelmingly rejected BCYF’s proposed enterprise agreement offer your ASU representatives have been working to try to negotiate an acceptable deal with management.

Disappointingly this has not occurred.

Meetings are being held to discuss these matters in more detail and it is imperative that you attend and bring your co-workers! Members will be discussing strategies and deciding on next steps. Potential next steps include possible protected industrial action. It is your legal right to withdraw your labour and/or place bans on certain work activities. At these meetings we will take members through the legal steps required by Fair Work to take protected industrial action (bans and/or withdrawal of labour) so that you can make informed decisions about strategy going forward.

These are approved paid time meetings, so please book them into your calendar.

To improve conditions at BCYF we need to hear what you think of the proposed offer, what it means for workers and work with members to stop it progressing if that is what members vote for. Remember, only members can have a say on how the ASU proceeds, ensure your voice is heard and join today so that you can come along to the meetings and vote on where to next.

Want to get the best outcomes possible in your EA?
