On Tuesday 21 May your ASU bargaining representatives met with Bethany management to commence negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.
At the meeting a discussion was held regarding the process, including expectations of minutes being circulated and it was agreed that negotiation meetings will be held fortnightly.
The ASU spoke on members’ expectations for a new agreement and outlined the arguments for the Log of Claims to improve conditions and entitlements.
In addition, Bethany management spoke on the claims put forward by them.
At this early stage, nothing has been agreed nor disagreed. The ASU committed to providing further wording on clauses, as well as the contentious issue of GPS trackers being fitted to vehicles.
Your representatives at the bargaining table are:
- Katrina Crothers
- Mark Vincent
- Stephen Burton
- Joanne McEvoy – ASU Organiser
Members are to be congratulated for their involvement in this process; it’s only because of a strong united membership that great results can be achieved.
It’s not too late to stand with your colleagues! This is your agreement that will set your wages and conditions into the future.
