The ASU is seeking final feedback from members on your draft log of claims to make the Banyule City Council Enterprise Agreement better and fairer for members.

Your enterprise agreement (EA) sets out all the terms and conditions of employment like your pay & classification, hours of work, work-life balance and flexibility, job security, leave, union access, and allowances. The EA, once approved by the Fair Work Commission is enforced by unions and protected by law.

Your ASU organiser has been conducting meetings, attending toolbox talks and access to union surveys with the goal of canvassing the needs of members and drafting the log of claims for members’ endorsement.

The ASU has compiled the attached log of claims and seeks members’ endorsement, but it’s not too late to make a submission. Members have until close of business Tuesday 24 March

If you are aware of non-members who may be interested in supporting the log or making submissions on their working conditions, encourage them to join the ASU.
