ASU members at various employment service providers in Ballarat have recently been advised that the funding for their jobs has not been renewed and they’re facing redeployment, or in most cases, redundancy.

If this impacts you, your ASU Branch is by your side as you go through this difficult experience and we want to meet with you to discuss the process, your concerns, and how we can help make it as painless as possible.

We’ve organised a meeting of impacted members from across multiple organisations.

DATE: Tuesday 12 April
TIME: 5.30pm – 7pm
VENUE: Ballarat Trade Hall, Conference Room

We’re hoping to see as many people there as possible so that you can share experiences and work together to get better outcomes, which is what being in the union is all about! Please send your RSVP to Tim Sullivan on the details below.

If you’ve got colleagues who are impacted by this and they aren’t in the union, please invite them to come to this meeting with you, as we are opening this meeting up to everyone facing these job losses. If they wish to join the union before the meeting, they can do so at

Please note: this is a child-friendly meeting. Kids are welcome.
