The ASU is seeking feedback from members on the changes required to make the City of Ballarat enterprise agreement better and fairer for members.

Your enterprise agreement (EA) sets out all the terms and conditions of employment like your pay & classification, hours of work, work life balance and flexibility, job security, leave, union access, and allowances. The EA, once approved by the Fair Work Commission is enforced and protected by law.

The ASU has developed a short survey, which will help to construct the Log of Claims we make on your behalf. The survey can be accessed online, or provided in hard copy from your local union delegate.

ASU organisers and delegates will be conducting meetings, attending tool box talks and distributing union material over the month of April, with the goal of canvassing the needs of members, and drafting the log of claims for members’ endorsement.

If you are aware of non-members who may be interested in making submissions on their working conditions, or in joining the ASU encourage them to participate in the survey, this provides a guide on the future discussion we’ll be having with members as we develop your log of claims.
