The BADAC Enterprise Agreement (EA) will be out to vote on June 22, 2023.
ASU member meetings have been scheduled to discuss a yes vote for the final Enterprise Agreement and to answer any questions members may have.
BADAC in person and Zoom meeting details below:
DATE: Tuesday 13 June
TIME: 1:30pm
VENUE: BADAC Training Centre, 214 Mair Street, Ballarat
ZOOM LINK: https://tinyurl.com/3e26exnt
Please note: these meetings will be on paid time.
This Agreement will be one of the first Enterprise Agreements covering an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organization (ACCO). This is of great significance and hopefully, also the impetus to encourage other ACCO’s to negotiate their own Enterprise Agreements!
GAINS IN THE PROPOSED BADAC 2 YEAR ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
The ASU’s considered opinion is that the agreement is on balance a good agreement overall, encourages and strongly recommends all members to Vote YES to it being in place moving forward.
It is important to note that paid parental leave days were not secured, which is an entitlement that the ASU bargaining Team fought hard and long to try to change.
We look forward to seeing you at this important meeting!
Bring a colleague who is not a member of the ASU and talk to them about the importance of union membership and ask them to join the ASU at https://www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
