Yesterday, the ASU notified Colony 47 of a dispute pertaining to their intention to freeze almost 100 employees wages which is in breach of Part 4, Clause 17 of the Colony 47 Enterprise Agreement 2017.
We are meeting with Management this afternoon. Failing resolution, we will escalate the matter to the Fair Work Commission.
WHY NOW? WHAT SHOULD COLONY 47 BE DOING?
Colony 47 have not demonstrated a need to take this action and have money in the bank that can be used to live Advantaged Thinking: ‘Invest in people to promote their potential to thrive.’
If Colony 47 want to negotiate wages and conditions they need to enter into Enterprise Bargaining with their employees and their unions not unilaterally make decisions.
Together, we can bring Colony 47 to the table to negotiate fairly.
