Bargaining for your enterprise agreement is progressing with the third meeting of the City of Launceston Bargaining Committee held on Wednesday the 18th of November.
City of Launceston Management have now presented their log of Claims.
There are some similarities between the ASU and CoL logs of claims including
Casual employment provisions to be aligned with the Local Government Industry Award
Improved family violence leave provision
Declared State of Emergency provision
Improved Transition to Retirement provision
Improved parental leave provision.
The CoL has not provided an annual pay increase claim. We have been advised that this information will be presented early next year.

Next week’s meeting will see negotiations commence in earnest with discussions around the claims that CoL and the ASU have in common.
