After 7 months of negotiations, the ASU and South East Water are making significant progress in bargaining.
South East Water has come to the table with an offer, on the condition that we accept before June 30, 2023. They have said that the reason for this is that the money to pay for it is only available in the current financial year.
The ASU is committed to securing the best outcome for its members and we will not be pressured into an unacceptable deal.

Any decision to formally accept an offer will be made democratically. Once your ASU bargaining reps have a deal that we believe we can recommend to members, we will conduct an online poll to determine that it has majority support from members.
